New Princess on the Block

Disney's newest princess came out on DVD today--Rapunzel of Tangled! We headed to Wal-Mart to get a copy this afternoon. Wow, it's a GREAT movie. Disney did it...AGAIN! It's a total tear jerker for any parent, especially those that have little princesses of their own. Nothing like crying during the opening 5 minutes of a movie! And Mandy Moore is the voice of the lead, a long-time personal favorite of mine.

It's amazing what a little Disney Princess branding can do. Brushing teeth in our house has been a little of a battle. Mommy had the genius idea to get Lola an electric tooth brush (like Tessa and Tate have) and Daddy hit the jackpot today a Target, scoring a Cinderelly (as Lola calls her) tooth brush! Holla!

She thinks it's super neat and now loves brushing her teeth. She even lets Mommy help her. Ah, happy to have another battle solved. As I blog, she's saying "Look Daddy--I brush my teeth like Tessa and Tate." Someone is a huge fan of the dynamic Peck duo :)

Flower Girl Lola

Lola and I have the honor of being in my cousin Leah's upcoming wedding this summer! We are so excited! I've been busy helping plan the fun bachlorette party with some of her other 'maids and her bridal shower is just around the corner. The wedding fun is about to officially begin!

Leah dropped off an awesome flower girl gift for Lola today so she could start to practice her important role in the show. We'll be making several trips to St. Elizabeth's to do some dry runs up and down the aisle :)

{Johnny 4 Months}

Today marks 4 wonderful months with our little guy--who isn’t so little anymore! He’s weighing in at just shy of 15 lbs. and is 24 in. long.

He continues to be such a happy baby, smiling and cooing up a storm! We love how he connects with our faces and “sings” to us in all his different voices.

Mommy snapped some great pictures of Buck today--I feel guilty for not having had a professional session done yet, but Easter pictures of the kids will be coming soon--and we’re looking forward to our first family shoot this Spring with our friend Lana!

Happy Spring!

Spring has officially arrived! We spent a great family morning at the park on Saturday, but then yesterday and this morning were quite chilly and rainy. But, the sun and 65 degree weather came out this afternoon, so we headed down the street to hang with our best friends...

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

One year ago, we went on our second adventure to Ireland--and were blessed with the most amazing souvenir:

Mommy and Daddy climbing St. Patrick's mountain in Westport, Co. Mayo. He fasted up there for 40 days and of course is credited for spreading Christianity throughout the Emerald Isle.

Royal Family 5K

Running a 5K was on my "to-do" list for 2011, so I was super excited when my sister-in-law Renee asked me if I wanted to run the Royal Family 5K through Epcot at Disney with her. This was the first time either of us had ever run a race and we loved it! The atmosphere was so much fun. I can't wait to run a few more this year--and who knows--maybe one day I'll run a half marathon! The 5K was part of the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend and it seemed like a blast for those that participated.

Lola has had SO MUCH fun with her friends Tessa & Tate since we've been here in Florida--and all the fun started the day we all visited the Magic Kingdom together. What a day (lots more pics and video to come.)
