Since Lola was 9 months old, we've been watching Preschool Prep Company's "Meet the..." series. At 9 months, we introduced the Shapes, Colors, Numbers & Letters DVDs. At 15 months, the Sight Words 1-3 DVDs.The series got AMAZING reviews and dozens of awards and it's very apparent to us why--she has picked up so much, so fast! We reinforce all the topics covered through books, puzzles and her wall pictures. We'd highly suggest this to any new parent :)
