Merry Christmas...and Nine Weeks!

I can't believe I'm 9 weeks already. This picture shows a lil' baby bump and alot of holiday bloat! I know I've got 31 more weeks to go (!) but each new week is such a blessing to us. Our next ultrasound isn't for another two weeks. We're so excited to see how much our little bambino has grown by then.

Happy Birthday to our dear Baby Jesus. His mommy Mary went through more than probably any other mommy on Earth to bring Him into this world and for that we are so grateful!

Merry Christmas everyone. We love you all.

Christmas Eve at Casa de Hernandez

Christmas Eve was wonderful. We had Mom's side of the family over. Instead of a sit-down dinner, we had appitizers. Everyone brought a little something and it worked out perfectly. Here's many pics of our great afternoon together. We're so blessed to have eachother. It's great when we can all be together, especially when two of our familys are out-of-town!

These next pictures are of us sharing "opatki"--a Polish tradition started in our family by our dear Nana. Even though she isn't with us this year, she's with us in spirit through this tradition. The "opatki" is similar to communion hosts and we each say a little something, wishing eachother good health and happiness for the coming year--and counting our blessings for the past. (We go from oldest--or wisest!--to youngest.)

Too much chocolate will do that to you

Merry Christmas Eve!

We'll, we're all ready for Kristen's Mom's side of the family to come over this afternoon. Some how, we're going to manage to entertain 25 people in our condo. The weather up here is frightful...no snow, unfortunately, but my, my there's a nip in the air! It went from 50 degrees on Saturday to 16 degrees yesterday and today. Typical Chicago weather. Mom and Sam gave me an amazing Nikon D40 SLR camera for Christmas Saturday night and it's simply AMAZING. Here's one of my first pictures. It's our very first Christmas tree. Enjoy and God Bless you and yours!
